June 19 – The Holy Trinity

Genesis 1:1—2:4a
In the first creation story in Genesis (the second is recorded Genesis 2:4 through 25), it is the Word of God which brings about creation in our reading. That Word comes to us in flesh in Jesus.
2 Corinthians 13:11–13
God is a God of order. In his conclusion of the second set of correspondence with the church in Corinth, he uses the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) to as a blessing. In doing this, we see that God’s purpose always is to bless.
Matthew 28:16–20
Jesus calls his Church to teach, baptize and obey all in the name of God.
